Delete your data
You can delete your data yourself at any time, or ask us to. This page explains how, and is the data deletion address we give to platforms such as Meta (Instagram) and TikTok.
1. Delete everything yourself
- Sign in to PostRush and open Settings → Account.
- Under Delete account, type your email address and confirm.
This permanently deletes your account, your workspaces and everything in them (brands, posts, media, connections) and cancels any subscription. It can’t be undone. Settings → Account → Download my data gives you a copy first.
2. Remove only a connected platform
To stop PostRush accessing your Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube or Reddit account without deleting your PostRush account, open Settings → Connected accounts and choose Disconnect next to it. We delete the stored access token and the account details we received (name, handle, avatar, follower count) straight away. You can also revoke PostRush’s access from inside the platform’s own settings; after that the token stops working, and we remove it the next time we try to use it.
3. Ask us to delete it
If you can’t sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account, or write to us with the platform and username you connected, and we’ll delete the data linked to it. We reply within 30 days and usually much sooner. Please don’t include passwords.
4. What is deleted, and when
- Account, workspace, brand, post and media data: deleted immediately when you delete the account.
- Platform tokens and profile details received from Instagram, TikTok and other platforms: deleted when you disconnect or delete the account.
- Backups and logs: removed as they roll off, normally within 30 days.
- Payment records may be kept for the period tax and accounting law require, without your content. Our payment provider keeps its own records under its own policy.
