Acceptable Use Policy
PostRush can post, email and reply on your behalf, so what you point it at matters. These rules protect the people who see your marketing, the platforms it runs on, and your own accounts. Breaking them can lead to suspension under the Terms of Service.
1. General
Don’t use PostRush to: break the law; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; harass, threaten or defame anyone; promote violence, hate, self-harm, sexual content involving minors, or illegal goods and services; run scams, pyramid schemes or deceptive “get rich” or health claims; distribute malware or phishing; or attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer PostRush or its providers, or scrape it.
2. Honest marketing
- No fake proof. Don’t create fake reviews, testimonials, case studies, follower counts, “customer” stories or results, and don’t present an AI persona’s experience as a real customer’s. Where the law or a platform requires it, disclose paid promotion, affiliate links and material connections (for example #ad, “I made this”).
- Be truthful about your product. Every claim you publish (price, results, features, comparisons, medical or financial outcomes) must be true and substantiated. You must check AI output for this before it goes out.
- No impersonation or fake accounts. Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage. Don’t use PostRush to run networks of fake or coordinated accounts, to pretend to be another person or brand, or to evade a platform’s ban or limits.
- Be open about who you are in communities. When you reply to people on Reddit, X and similar places, help first, and disclose your affiliation when you mention your own product (PostRush’s reply drafts do this by default). Don’t hide links, edit promotional links into posts after they gain traction, or vote-manipulate.
3. Platform rules
You are responsible for following the rules of every platform you connect (for example TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X and Reddit), including their automation, API, spam, self-promotion and AI-content labelling rules, and for the volume and pace you set. Don’t use PostRush to bypass rate limits, post duplicate content across many accounts, or run accounts you have been prohibited from using. If a platform asks you to stop something, stop.
4. Business contact and cold email
- Outreach is for genuine, relevant business-to-business contact with a real offer. No bulk unsolicited email to consumers, purchased lists, or harvested addresses.
- Follow the law where the recipient is: CAN-SPAM (US) requires an accurate sender, no deceptive subject lines, your physical address and a working opt-out honoured within 10 business days; in the EU and UK, marketing email to individuals (including sole traders) generally needs prior consent, and corporate-subscriber outreach must still be relevant, identify you, and stop on request; Canada’s CASL and other laws have their own consent rules. It is your responsibility to know which rules apply and to send only where you are permitted to.
- Every email sent through PostRush includes an unsubscribe link and your business address. Don’t remove them. Anyone who opts out is suppressed across PostRush, and you must not contact them another way.
- Use only a mailbox you own and keep complaint and bounce rates low; we may pause outreach if they rise.
5. Content and likeness
Only upload or ask PostRush to use what you have the rights to. Don’t generate or publish realistic images, video or voice of a real person without their consent, don’t create deceptive deepfakes, and don’t use another creator’s protected video, music, voice or face. Remixing a trend means recreating the idea or structure in your own words and visuals, not re-uploading someone else’s work. See the AI Content Policy and Copyright policy.
6. Fair use of the service
Free accounts are a limited trial. Don’t create multiple accounts, use temporary email addresses, rotate networks or browsers, or otherwise get around plan limits or account limits; we detect and close such accounts. Don’t share a login between different businesses to avoid plan limits, resell the service, or use bots against it. Each plan has a compute ceiling per month; sustained use that costs us more than the plan pays for may be limited.
7. Reporting and enforcement
Report abuse to [email protected]. We may remove content, pause automation, suspend or close accounts, and cooperate with platforms and authorities when these rules are broken. We’ll usually warn first unless the breach is serious or urgent.
